Broccoli Belstar F1

Belstar F1 is the most consistent and adaptable broccoli variety available organically in Australia. It has performed well as a main season variety in Northern NSW and SE Qld. Plants are compact and heads are dark green with a fine to medium bead. Can be grown successfully across all states and is one of the few organic varieties suitable for commercial production. Heads come on 1-2 weeks later than Fiesta F1 and the side shoots are slower to develop but they attain a much larger size and finer bead. Side shoots on some plants can attain a size similar to the primary head.
